Abstract

The invention discloses a vehicle lamp lens solar focusing simulation analysis method. The method comprises steps: a lamp 3D data model with a lens is designed, wherein the lamp 3D data model comprises a lens module, a plastic part, air domains inside and outside the lamp, vehicle body sheet metal around the lamp and a light emitting surface at the front part of a lampshade; geometric data preprocessing is carried out, all geometric data characteristics affecting thermology and optics are kept, and surface processing areas of all parts are defined at the same time; in view of all parts, individual mesh size setting is carried out, the mesh is then divided, and all local areas affecting thermology and optics are subjected to mesh refinement; the mesh data obtained in the third step are guided to fluid simulation software, simulation parameters and governing equations are set, and after solution, a simulation result is obtained; and according to the simulation result, whether the peripheral components of the lens of the lamp are at risk of ablation due to the focus of sunlight can be judged. Hidden sunlight focusing risks can be found out in the early stage of lamp design, preventivemeasures are thus taken in advance to prevent occurrence of lamp failure.
