Abstract

The invention discloses a water-retaining and fertilizing-saving method for crop rotation of wheat and corn in a seasonal drought condition in winter and spring. The method comprises the following steps: sowing vicia villosa and oil radish seeds; sowing wheat; mowing the vicia villosa and oil radish seeds; covering the vicia villosa and oil radish seeds; harvesting wheat; overturning and pressingthe vicia villosa and oil radish seeds; planting corn; fertilizing the corn; harvesting the corn and the like. According to the method, the soil water content of planting soil in the whole wheat period of duration can be increased by 1.1% in wheat season, and the soil water content in the late growth stage of wheat can be increased by 2.3%. Over 28.28% chemical nitrogen fertilizers applied to cornplanting are replaced by returning violet sweet potatoes and oil radish seeds to the field by means of green manure. The annual output is increased by 11.7kg/mu while the chemical nitrogen fertilizers are reduced, and the annual economical benefit RMB44.66 Yuan/mu is increased. The method makes full use of the green manure resource and reduces use of chemical fertilizers, so that sustainable development of a wheat and corn crop rotation system is facilitated. The method is easy to operate and has a wide popularization and application prospect.
