Embodiment Construction

[0023] The calibration scheme of the polarized cloud particle detection system for non-spherical particles is described in detail below:

[0024] The invention discloses a method for calibrating non-spherical particles in a polarized cloud particle detection system. The method performs calibrating work on non-spherical particles (mainly ice crystals) in the atmosphere, and confirms response curves and depolarization ratios of different non-spherical particles. This scheme generates different ice crystal particles through a split 20L mixed cloud chamber, and uses nitrogen continuous flow to transport them to the polarized cloud particle detection system, and obtains their shape and size through the inkjet droplet observation system, and then obtains the depolarization of different non-spherical particles Ratio and signal pulse amplitude of the detection channel to establish a database of different non-spherical particles, which can be used for subsequent detection of actual ice ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for calibrating non-spherical particles by a polarization cloud particle detection system. The method performs calibration work on non-spherical particles (mainly icecrystals) in the atmosphere to confirm response curves and depolarization ratios of different non-spherical particles. The method for calibrating non-spherical particles by the polarization cloud particle detection system generates different ice crystals by using a split 20L hybrid cloud chamber, transports to a detection system by a continuous flow of nitrogen, obtains shapes and sizes of the icecrystals through the inkjet droplet observation system, further obtains the depolarization ratio of different non-spherical particles and the pulse amplitude of a detection channel signal, and establishes a database of different non-spherical particles, which can be used for subsequent detection of actual ice crystal particles.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for calibrating non-spherical particles by a polarized cloud particle detection system, and belongs to the technical field of cloud particle detection. Background technique [0002] The size spectrum information of small ice crystals in clouds plays an important role in the scientific research of cloud radiology and cloud physics. In order to deeply understand the radiative transfer characteristics of clouds, the information of ice crystals in clouds is an indispensable physical parameter, especially the understanding of the ice crystal particles smaller than 50 μm that account for the majority in clouds is particularly important. On this basis, a cloud particle detection system based on polarization detection is developed, which uses the depolarization of cloud particles to the laser to distinguish the particle phase state, establishes a cloud particle detection system based on polarization detection, and realizes the...
