Abstract

The invention discloses a method for improving the landfilling and crushing efficiency of fly ash from a thermal power plant. The method overcomes the problems of ash jams and low compacting efficiency in conventional landfilling and crushing of fly ash. The method comprises the following steps: before delivery of fly ash from the thermal power plant, adding water into the fly ash, and carrying out stirring to realize humidification of the fly ash, wherein the water content of the fly ash which is humidified and loaded into a truck is 32%; then transporting the fly ash to a landfill and allowing the water content of the fly ash to be 30% during spreading and rolling; performing rolling by using a vibratory roller with a weight of 12 tons, wherein the paving and filling thickness of each layer of the fly ash is 300 mm; performing rolling in the manner of flat rolling once, then vibrating rolling three times and flat rolling once more so as to allow a landfill layer of the fly ash to have dry density of 1.13 g / cm<3> after compaction. The method of the invention improves rolling efficiency and reduces rolling operation cost.
