[0076] overview

[0077] The present invention generally relates to methods and systems using peer-to-peer (P2P) distributed ledgers (hereinafter referred to as "blockchains"), such as cryptocurrency blockchains, for identifying, extracting, transmitting, processing and / or updating data . The present invention provides a secure, cryptographically enforced solution for enhancing, augmenting or integrating data in computer-based resources set up within an organization (entity) using blockchain-published data. The computer-based resource may be a database, accounting system, or any other type of computer-based facility for storing and / or processing data. This system can be called "internal" because it is internal to the organization and not part of the blockchain.

[0078] The present invention provides a solution to provide data control and security by assigning encryption keys to elements associated with entities or sub-entities. Elements are organized into a (linear or tr...

Abstract

The present invention generally relates to cryptographic techniques for secure processing, transmission and exchange of data. The present invention also relates to peer-to-peer distributed ledgers, such as (but not limited to) cryptocurrency blockchains, and related technologies. More specifically, the present invention relates to control solutions for identifying, protecting, extracting, transmitting and updating data in a cryptographically controlled and secure manner. The present invention also relates to system interoperability and the ability to transfer data between disparate and differentiated computing systems. The present invention provides a computer-implemented method (and corresponding system) comprising the steps of: identifying a first set of structure public keys comprising at least one structure associated with a first structure of interest of an entity a public root key and one or more associated public subkeys; deriving a deterministic association between at least one public root key and one or more associated public subkeys; multiple transactions (TX) from the blockchain Extract data from. The data includes: data indicative of a transaction (Tx) between the first structure and at least one other structure; and a first structure public key associated with the first structure. The first structured public key is part of the encrypted public / private key. The method includes the step of generating an output of the first structure of interest by matching at least a portion of the set of public keys of the first structure with the extracted transaction data using a deterministic association. One or more public subkeys are generated or determined using elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) and a deterministic key (DK) based on a cryptographic hash of the message (M). One or more common subkeys are determined based on the associated public parent key and scalar addition of scalar multiplication of the deterministic key (DK) and the generator (G).

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention generally relates to cryptographic techniques for the secure processing, transmission and exchange of data. The present invention also relates to peer-to-peer distributed ledgers, such as (but not limited to) the Bitcoin blockchain, and related technologies. More specifically, the present invention relates to control solutions for identifying, protecting, extracting, transmitting and updating data in a cryptographically controlled and secure manner. The present invention also relates to system interoperability and the ability to transfer data between disparate and differentiated computing systems. Background technique [0002] A blockchain is a peer-to-peer electronic ledger implemented as a computer-based decentralized distributed system composed of blocks, which in turn are composed of transactions. Each transaction is a data structure encoding the transfer of control of a digital asset between participants in a blockchain sys...
