Abstract

The hydraulic retarder comprises a controller, a liquid box, a heat exchanger, a water-gas separation valve, a center rotor and two stators. The two stators are symmetrically arranged on the left side and the right side of the center rotor. The liquid box communicates with liquid inlet blades of stator impellers through blade liquid inlet runners. The heat exchanger communicates with liquid discharging holes of the stator impellers through impeller liquid return runners. The water-gas separation valve communicates withexhaust blades of the stator impellers through exhaust runners. The heat exchanger communicates with the blade liquid inlet runners through a main liquid return runner. The controller communicates with the liquid box through a main gas inlet pipe. The hydraulic retarder solves the problems that an existing hydraulic retarder is low in energy dissipation efficiency and complex in structure.
