Abstract

The invention discloses an apparatus and method for measuring deformation of a shock absorption block in a launching cylinder. The apparatus comprises a transmission member installed on the surface ofthe shock absorption block, wherein the transmission member is used for driving the shock absorption block to have relative displacement along with the deformation of the shock absorption block, anda moving direction of the transmission member is consistent with a radial direction of the launching cylinder; and the apparatus also comprises a cantilever beam installed in the launching cylinder, the installation direction of the cantilever beam is perpendicular to the moving direction of the transmission member, one end of the cantilever beam is connected with the transmission member, the other end of the cantilever beam is also adhered with a strain gauge, and the strain gauge is also used for being electrically connected to an external data acquisition system; and the strain gauge is used for detecting a strain value generated by the extrusion of the cantilever beam by the transmission member. According to the invention, the space occupied in the launching cylinder is very small, andthe installation is very convenient; measurers can be installed at multiple points in the launching cylinder according to the requirements, and a test wire can be led out at a sealed joint, thereby realizing the multipoint measurement; and the measurers can obtain the instantaneous deformation of the shock absorption block by virtue of experiments.
