Embodiment Construction

[0034] The invention provides an infrared video enhancement system based on multi-level guided filtering. The technical solution of the present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, so as to make it easier to understand and grasp.

[0035] refer to Figure 1 to Figure 6 shown.

[0036] In terms of hardware implementation, TI's high-performance dual-core fixed-point / floating-point digital signal processor C6657 and Xilinx's high-performance K7 series FPGA chip are used for design, giving full play to FPGA's multi-functional interface conversion and efficient video acquisition Features and strong DSP signal processing capabilities. The communication method between FPGA and DSP chooses highly reliable and high-performance SRIO interface. The maximum transmission speed of a single channel can reach 5Gbps. Combine these performance advantages to build a hardware platform.

Abstract

The invention discloses an infrared video enhancement system based on multi-level guided filtering, and the system comprises an FPGA module and a DSP module. The FPGA module and the DSP module are incommunication connection through an SRIO interface, wherein the FPGA module completes digital single green video data acquisition and transmits the data to the DSP module through the SRIO interface; after video enhancement processing is completed in the DSP module, the video data is transmitted back to the FPGA module through the SRIO interface, and finally the video data is output to an externalscreen display through an LVDS interface of the FPGA module after being converted into a format through the FPGA module. A framework system of the DSP module and the FPGA module is adopted, and the single-frame image processing is efficient. The video transmission is achieved between the DSP module and the FPGA module through an SRIO interface, and the system has the advantages of being high in bandwidth, high in efficiency, high in real-time performance, low in time delay and the like. According to the present invention, the multi-level guided filtering is achieved through box filtering, thecalculation complexity is irrelevant to the size of a window, clear structural characteristics and rich texture details can be reserved, and the system is suitable for occasions with high requirementsfor real-time performance.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to video processing, in particular to an infrared video enhancement system based on multi-level guiding filtering, and belongs to the technical field of infrared video enhancement. Background technique [0002] With the modernization of the aircraft cockpit, the display replaces the flight instrument as an important part of the airborne integrated display system. Displays have also evolved from the larger and power-hungry cathode ray tube CRT displays to the lighter and more reliable liquid crystal display LCDs. [0003] However, due to the difference in imaging principles between the two, the sampling of CRT display screen information is continuous from low gray to high gray, and there is no loss of video information. However, the LCD display screen is limited by its AD conversion accuracy and the number of data display digits, and its display screen will show discontinuous grayscale differences, and some information will be los...
