The system comprises a load switch, a processor, amemory, a metering chip, an execution module and a judging module. The processor is connected with the input end of the execution module, the memory and the measuring chip. The output end of the execution module is connected with the control line of the load switch. The metering chip detects the load current. The output end of the judging module is connected with the processor. The input end of the judging module is connected with the output end of the load switch. The arc-extinguishing method comprises the steps that the disconnection time of the load switch in each electric energy meter ismeasured; the disconnection time is saved to the memory, and is read by the processor when used; the metering chip and the processor judge the time point at which a switch out signal is issued; if delay is not required, switch out is directly carried out; if delay is required, the next step is carried out; the required delay is calculated according to the saved disconnection time; and the switch out signal is issued after the delay.
