In the automatic driving process, the residual electricquantity of a power battery and a current position of the vehicle are collected in real time; the corresponding residual driving mileage is calculated according to the residual electric quantity; andthe distance between the current position of the vehicle and a charging place is compared with the residual driving mileage, when the residual driving mileage is less than or equal to the set multipleof the distance, the vehicle is controlled to stop sweeping work and controlled to travel towards the charging place to be charged, the residual driving mileage is slightly greater than the distancebetween the current position of the vehicle and the charging place or the residual driving mileage is exactly equal to the distance between the current position of the vehicle and the charging place,and thus the residual electric quantity of the vehicle is sufficient to support the vehicle to travel to the charging place to be charged.
