The molecular weight of the acidic pseudo-ginseng polysaccharide is 2500-3000 kDa; the acidic pseudo-ginseng polysaccharide is composed of following mono-saccharides: Rha, Ara, Man, Glc, Gal, and GalA according to a mole ratio of 0.038: 0.045: 0.002: 0.016: 0.031: 0.868; and GalA is galacturonic acid, which has following types of glycosidic bonds: Ara-1<arrow>, Rha-1<arrow>, <arrow>5-Ara-1<arrow>, <arrow>4-GalA-1<arrow>, and <arrow>3,6-Gal-1<arrow> according to a ratio of 0.06:0.04:0.80:0.05. After total saponins are extracted, the residues of pseudo-ginseng are re-extracted to obtain the acidic pseudo-ginseng polysaccharide; the pharmaceutical value of pseudo-ginseng is fully utilized, pseudo-ginseng is better utilized, the method has an important meaning for secondary development of pseudo-ginseng; and the extracted acidic pseudo-ginseng polysaccharide can obviously relieve alcoholic liver injury.
