G beta-MCA or GUDCA has an inhibitory effect on an elevated blood fat level induced by a high fat diet, progression of a fatty liver induced by the high fat diet, aggregation of cholesterol and triglyceride in the liver induced by the high fat diet and progression of atherosclerotic plaques induced by the high fat diet; a protection mechanism of G beta-MCA or GUDCA is to activate a bile acid receptor FXR of a cell. The bile acid derivative has a wide pharmacological action on promoting cholesterol metabolism, inhibiting synthesis of cholesterol and triglyceride and progression of the fatty liver, reducing the blood fat level and inhibiting the progression of the atherosclerotic plaques and is a safe and simple drug with a high curative effect.
