Embodiment Construction

[0035] First, the main components of the extracorporeal blood therapy device are described.

[0036] The blood treatment equipment includes an extracorporeal blood circulation circuit I and a hydraulic system II. The hydraulic system includes a plurality of flow paths, which in turn can have a plurality of lines. In the following, only some of the flow paths or lines are described, which are only understood as examples of possible flow paths or lines of the blood therapy device.

[0037] The extracorporeal blood circuit I includes a blood chamber 1 and the hydraulic system II includes a dialysate chamber 2 of a dialyzer 3 which is divided into a blood chamber 1 and a dialysate chamber 2 by a semipermeable membrane 4 .

[0038] A blood input line 5 , into which a blood pump 6 is connected, leads to the blood chamber 1 of the dialyzer 3 , while a blood output line 7 leaves the blood chamber 1 . The blood inlet and outlet lines 5 , 7 together with the blood chamber 1 form the e...

Abstract

The invention relates to an extracorporeal blood treatment device having a hydraulic system II which comprises several flow paths, wherein the blood treatment device has a control unit (40) which provides an operating mode for a disinfection of the hydraulic system with a liquid that can be supplied via one of the flow paths. The invention further relates to a method for operating an extracorporeal blood treatment device with a hydraulic system comprising several flow paths. The blood treatment device according to the invention is characterized in that the hydraulic system II has a valve device (23) that provides several switching positions. The valve device (23) has an inlet (25A) for the liquid for the disinfection of the hydraulic system and several outlets (26A, 27A, 28A), wherein in one switching position the inlet (25A) is connected to one of the outlets (26A, 27A, 28A) and in another switching position the inlet is connected to several outlets (26A, 27A, 28A). The inlet (25A) ofthe valve device (23) is fluidically connected to the flow path via which liquid can be delivered for the disinfection of the hydraulic system II, and the outlets (26A, 27A, 28A) of the valve device(23) are each fluidically connected to another flow path of the hydraulic system, such that liquid can be delivered simultaneously to the individual flow paths.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an extracorporeal blood treatment device having a hydraulic system comprising a plurality of flow paths, wherein the blood treatment device has a control unit which is provided for disinfecting the hydraulic system with a liquid mode of operation, the liquid can be delivered via one of the flow paths. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for operating an extracorporeal blood treatment device having a hydraulic system with a plurality of flow paths. Background technique [0002] During dialysis, the blood to be treated flows in the extracorporeal blood circuit through the blood compartment of the dialyzer, while the dialysate flows through the dialysate compartment of the dialyzer, which is divided into a blood compartment and a dialysate compartment by a semipermeable membrane . The extracorporeal blood circuit comprises a blood inlet line leading to the blood chamber and a blood outlet line leading out of the blood...
