Abstract

The invention discloses a shape memory alloy based impact load retarding device. The shape memory alloy based impact load retarding device comprises a shape memory alloy gasket, a shape memory alloy sleeve and a connector. The shape memory alloy sleeve is arranged between an upper connecting piece to be subjected to vibration attenuation and a lower connecting piece to be subjected to vibration attenuation. The connector comprises a nut and a connecting rod. The shape memory alloy gasket is used for being arranged on the upper connecting piece. One end of a rod body of the connecting rod is provided with a cap body. The rod body penetrates through the upper connecting piece, the sleeve, the lower connecting piece and the shape memory alloy gasket in sequence. The other end of the rod bodyis in threaded connection with the nut. The shape memory alloy gasket and the shape memory alloy sleeve are both in a martensite phase transformation critical stress state by tightening the nut. The invention further discloses an impact load retarding method of the shape memory alloy based impact load retarding device. Through the impact load retarding method, the assembly tightness of the upper connecting piece, the lower connecting piece and the connector is ensured, impact and vibration between the upper connecting piece and the lower connecting piece are reduced.
