Abstract

The invention discloses a method for quickly measuring the crosslinking degree of XLPE cables on site, which solves the problems of long detection time, low detection accuracy and inability to perform rapid detection on site in the existing XLPE crosslinking degree detection method. This method utilizes the law that the crystallinity of the material decreases when the cross-linking degree of XLPE increases. First, XLPE samples with different cross-linking degrees are prepared and the cross-linking degree of the samples is calibrated by gel method. Then use the DSC instrument to measure the endothermic melting curve of the cable insulation sample for these samples, calculate the crystallinity of the material, and then find out the corresponding relationship between the crystallinity and the degree of cross-linking of the XLPE samples and determine the relationship between the degree of cross-linking calculated by the degree of crystallinity Mode. Finally, the crystallinity of the material with unknown cross-linking degree was measured by DSC instrument, and its cross-linking degree was calculated.
