Abstract

The invention provides a front water filter and belongs to the field of water treatment equipment. The front water filter comprises a shell, a filter component, a water inlet and outlet valve component and a blow-down component, wherein the shell is additionally internally provided with a cleaning component; a funnel-shaped blow-down cavity is formed in the lower part of the shell; the blow-down component comprises a blow-down hole in the bottom of the blow-down cavity; and a siphon blow-down pipe is arranged at the blow-down hole. On one hand, the front water filter is equipped with a cleaning mechanism to scrape and clean the outer surface of a filtering net, and thus impurities adhered to the filtering net can be removed; and on the other hand, a spiral runway is formed in the inner wall of the shell of the filter, and the siphon blow-down pipe is arranged at the blow-down hole, water flow vortexes are formed inside the shell, and impurities adhered to the filtering net and the inner wall of the shell can be sufficiently removed through the sucking force resulted by a siphon function. The decontamination ability of the filter can be greatly improved, and the service life of thefilter can be prolonged.
