Abstract

The invention discloses a barrel type composite insulating material insulating property detection device which comprises a constant temperature box and an electrode system. A heating pipe and a temperature sensor are arranged in the constant temperature box. The electrode system includes high-voltage copper bar electrodes and a ground electrode; the high-voltage copper bar electrodes are cylindrical copper electrodes and are arranged inside a barrel type composite insulating material; the cylindrical copper electrodes are two semi-cylindrical copper electrodes formed by cutting along the diameter; upper cooper bars are screwed into the circle centers of the upper surfaces of the cylindrical copper electrodes through tapping; and lower copper bars are screwed into the circle centers of thelower surfaces through tapping. The ground electrode is in close contact with the outer wall of the barrel type composite insulating material. The upper cooper bars are connected with a high-voltage terminal and connected with a partial discharge detector or a voltage measuring instrument; and the ground electrode is connected with a low-voltage terminal. The partial discharge detector or the voltage measuring instrument sends the acquired voltage data to a computer. Therefore, the tight fitting of the electrode and the insulating material can be ensured; and the air gap discharge caused by agap between the electrode and the insulating material and creepage of the insulating material in the radial direction are prevented.
