The method comprises steps of measuring front resistance, back resistance and oblique resistance of a carbon fiber composite laminated plate sample before and after lightning stroke to obtain curves of the front resistance change rate, the back resistance change rate and the obliquebody resistance change rate along with a lightning current peak value and lightning current action integral change, taking the curves as characteristic curves of lightning stroke damage of the carbonfiber composite material laminated plate. In the application process, according to the measured actual front resistance change rate, the back resistance change rate and the oblique resistance change rate, a lightning current type causing the damage, the peak current and the action integral at the moment are deduced by utilizing the characteristic curves of the lightning damage. Compared with a carbon fiber composite laminate damage detection method in the prior art, the method is advantaged in that the resistance characteristic of the material is utilized, an expensive sensor is not needed, and quasi-real-time online detection can be achieved.
