Abstract

The invention discloses a seawater desalination parallel device based on an ion concentration polarization effect. The seawater desalination parallel device mainly comprises three modules, namely an anode chamber, a desalination chamber and a cathode chamber, the parallelism of the device is embodied in two aspects: 1, parallelism of micron holes made of an ion selective membrane in a desalting chamber cavity; and 2, paralleling the desalination chamber. In order to completely describe the device, the cathode chamber and the anode chamber are also added, and the direction of the anions and cations in the whole device and the maintenance of the electrical neutrality of the system are described in detail. The whole device can be stably operated for a long time, and the three units execute different functions: the anode chamber is responsible for neutralizing redundant anions in the system, the cathode chamber is responsible for neutralizing redundant cations in the system, and the desalination chamber realizes the effect of sea water desalination through the selective permeability of the cation selective membrane.
