Abstract

The invention discloses a power calibration system and calibration method of a radio frequency power amplifier module. The method comprises the steps that a signal source provides an excitation signalfor a driving stage power amplifier circuit; a micro-processing unit controls the current detection circuit to acquire a drain current of a final-stage power amplifier circuit; a power detection unitcollects the output power of the final-stage power amplifier circuit; a plurality of drain currents and a plurality of corresponding output powers acquired under the plurality of excitation signals are obtained, and a function relation taking the drain currents as independent variables and the output powers as dependent variables is determined according to the plurality of drain currents and theplurality of corresponding output powers; and a micro-processing unit stores the function relation. According to the scheme, the circuit complexity of the power amplifier is simplified, the size of the circuit is reduced, and the loss of output power is reduced.
