Abstract

The invention provides a system for one-way flushing by constructing a tidal pool attached to a harbor basin and a desilting method. The tidal pool with the depth lower than that of the harbor basin is arranged next to the side, away from a harbor entrance, of the harbor basin. The harbor basin and the tidal pool are separated by an impervious partition wall of which the top height is higher thanthe highest tide level; a plurality of first one-way drainage pipelines are arranged in the impervious partition wall. The height of the sides, located on the tidal pool, of each drainage pipeline isat the average low tide height. The sides, located on the harbor basin, of the drainage pipelines are attached to the bottom mud surface of the harbor basin and are lower than the average low tide level; the side, away from the impervious partition wall, of the tidal pool is an impervious breakwater, and a plurality of second one-way drainage pipelines are arranged in the impervious breakwater, one ends of the second one-way drainage pipelines are connected to the open sea, and the height of each second one-way drainage pipeline is equal to the average sea level, and the height on the side, located on the tidal pool, of each second one-way drainage pipeline is lower than the average low tide level. The tidal pool is constructed attached to the harbor basin to flush and dredge the harbor basin, and the desilting cost is greatly reduced.
