Embodiment Construction

[0018] figure 1 with figure 2 A sectional view of a thermoelectric mat 12 according to the invention is shown, which is used in particular for regulating the temperature of vehicle seats of motor vehicles. In this exemplary embodiment, pad 12 is a thermoelectric fabric 1 . Basically, however, other embodiments of the pad 12 are also conceivable. The fabric 1 has a first large surface 13a and a second large surface 13b arranged opposite to each other. Furthermore, the fabric 1 comprises a plurality of first threads 2 (only one is visible here) and a plurality of second threads 3 . Here, the first threads 2 form the warp threads 2 a of the fabric 1 and the second threads 3 form the weft threads 3 a of the fabric. The first line 2 is formed alternately of p-doped line sections 4 and n-doped line sections 5 with electrically conductive first line sections 6 and electrically conductive second line sections 7 arranged therebetween. Thus, the first threads 2 of the fabric 1 con...

Abstract

The invention relates to a thermoelectric flexible mat, which is provided in particular for temperature-controlling a vehicle seat of a motor vehicle. The mat includes a first large surface and a second large surface disposed opposite the first large surface. The mat may also include a plurality of p-doped elements and a plurality of n-doped elements disposed in an alternating manner with one another and electrically interconnected to a series circuit via a plurality of electrically conductive conductor bridges. The plurality of conductor bridges of the series circuit may be assigned, at leastin part, to the first large surface and the second large surface such that the first large surface defines a hot side and the second large surface defines a cold side, and vice versa. According to the invention, the mat comprises an absorptive absorption structure that connects the hot side and the cold side. Therefore, any condensation or liquid present on the cold side is absorbable into the absorption structure and transportable to the hot side via the absorption structure.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a thermoelectrically flexible mat according to the preamble of claim 1 , which is provided in particular for regulating the temperature of a vehicle seat of a motor vehicle. Background technique [0002] In order to improve the comfort of passengers in motor vehicles, work is currently being done on regulating the temperature of interior surfaces, in particular vehicle seats. In particular, thermoelectric mats can be used for this purpose. When cooling the inner surface, the dew point of the surrounding air is lowered, therefore, the water contained in the surrounding air can condense. If the condensation does not drain from the thermo pad, it can be soaked. There is currently no solution known in the prior art for draining condensed water. [0003] It is therefore an object of the present invention to propose an improved or at least an alternative embodiment for a thermoelectric flexible mat of the generic type, in which th...
