The burn and scald ointment comprises the following components by weight: 30-60g of charred radix scutellariae, 30-60g of plant soot, 30-60g of charred radix rehmanniae, 30-60g of charred cacumen biotae, 15-30g of folium callicarpae pedunculalae, 150-300g of beeswax, 8-15g of borneol, 1000-1500g of sesame oil and 30-60g of musk. The preparation method comprises the following steps: step 1, grinding charred radix scutellariae, plant soot, charred radix rehmanniae, charred cacumen biotae, folium callicarpae pedunculalae and musk into fine powder; step 2, putting the sesame oil into an iron pan and boiling; step 3, putting the fine powder into the iron pan and putting the beeswax when the oil temperature is reduced; and step 4, putting the borneol when the ointment is taken out of the pan, so as to finally obtain the burn and scald ointment.
