Problems solved by technology

[0005] In existing video decoding methods, when decoding a video code stream including tiles, bricks and slice signaling, it is necessary to explicitly signal the syntax elements "top_left_brick_idx[i]" and "bottom_right_brick_idx_delta[i] ]” value, which reduces the efficiency of video decoding

Embodiment Construction

[0027] figure 1 is a simplified block diagram of a communication system 100 according to embodiments disclosed herein. The communication system 100 may comprise at least two terminal devices 110 , 120 which may be interconnected to each other via a network 150 . For unidirectional transmission of data, the first terminal device 110 may locally encode video data for transmission to another terminal device 120 through the network 150 . The second terminal device 120 may receive encoded video data of another terminal device from the network 150, decode the encoded data, and display the restored video data. One-way data transfer is more common in applications such as media services.

[0028] figure 1 A second pair of end devices 130, 140 is illustrated for supporting bi-directional transmission of encoded video data, which may eg occur during a video conference. For two-way data transmission, each end device 130 , 140 may encode locally captured video data for transmission ove...

Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a video decoding method and system, computer equipment and a storage medium. The method comprises receiving an encoded video code stream comprising pictures partitioned into at least two sub-picture units, the at least two sub-picture units comprising: a first sub-picture unit and a second sub-picture unit, the second sub-picture unit comprising at least two third sub-picture units, the third sub-picture unit comprising a third sub-picture unit with a first bit list and a third sub-picture unit with a last bit list; and in the case where the encoded video stream does not explicitly signal an index value, and does not explicitly signal a difference between index values of a third sub-picture unit of the bit train first and a third sub-picture unit ofthe bit train last, obtaining the index values of the first third sub-picture unit of the bit list and the last third sub-picture unit of the bit list of the second sub-picture unit, wherein the second sub-picture units are arranged after the order values of the first sub-picture units.
