Abstract

An attenuating structure composed of UV-initiated cationically cured epoxy resin for surface wave components is provided. The solvent-free epoxy resin is based on cycloaliphatic epoxides and is pressed onto the foil by screen printing. When the thin slice is sawed, the attenuating material will not be loosened or collapsed. This attenuation structure can meet the requirements of the surface wave filter in terms of attenuation and corrosion resistance.
