Abstract

The invention provides a method for assisting in tapping and positioning of a five-way ball by utilizing a BIM technology. The method comprises the following steps: calculating and determining a gravity center position of a five-way ball body; determining all lowest points for installation of the five-way ball body; determining a mounting lifting point for aligning the position of the five-way ball body; determining the length and the pipe diameter of a five-way ball body supporting vertical pipe; aligning the position of the five-way ball body, and measuring and marking a cross central line and a vertical central azimuth line of tapping of a downtake pipe to obtain a five-way ball body with the aligned position and the tapped downtake pipe; measuring and marking the relative positions ofthe key control points of tapping of a riser to obtain a five-way ball body with the tapped riser; determining the horizontal distance and angle between the key point of a riser eduction tube and thecross center line and the vertical distance between the key point of the riser eduction tube and the lowest installation point of the five-way ball; and connecting the adjusted five-way ball body withthe riser eduction tube through a stiffening plate. The five-way ball is subjected to three-dimensional modeling through the BIM technology, and the tapping position of the five-way ball is accurately measured.
