Embodiment

[0070] Taking millimeter-wave broadband massive MIMO system as an example, M=N=128, K=3, carrier frequency f c = 60GHz, including the following steps:

[0071] S1, only consider the sampling data from the first antenna, and the MS transmits 1 to the BS, then the received data can be simplified as:

[0072]

[0073] Among them, Y 1,: Indicates the first row of the received frequency domain signal, n is the additive white Gaussian noise vector. The sampling data of the first subcarrier is as follows:

[0074]

[0075] S2. The linear spectrum estimation problem is expressed as:

[0076]

[0077] in, represent the estimated channel gain and the estimated spatial steering matrix, respectively, and ε represents the error tolerance, which is 0.05;

[0078] S3. By replacing l with the logarithmic sum function and a data fitting term 0 norm, this problem can be further formulated as an unrestricted optimization problem:

Abstract

The invention belongs to the field of array signal processing in communication technology, and in particular relates to a millimeter wave MIMO wideband channel estimation method based on joint parameter learning. The present invention is based on a novel millimeter-wave large-scale multiple-input multiple-output channel model, and extracts channel information from the air domain and frequency domain through part of the received signal, and converts the channel estimation problem into a line spectrum estimation problem. Then, a joint parameter learning algorithm is proposed to estimate all channel parameters. Therefore, the channel can be recovered eventually, which is a low-complexity and high-performance channel estimation method.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of array signal processing in communication technology, and in particular relates to a millimeter wave MIMO wideband channel estimation method based on joint parameter learning. Background technique [0002] Both massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) and millimeter-wave (mmWave) are recognized as promising technologies for future fifth generation (fifth generation, 5G) wireless communications. On the one hand, the millimeter wave spectrum can provide a transmission bandwidth of nearly 2GHz. On the other hand, massive MIMO can provide high beamforming gain to compensate the path loss of mmWave channels and improve spectrum and energy efficiency. Therefore, the mmWave massive MIMO system can achieve a 1000-fold increase in data traffic for future 5G cellular networks. [0003] However, the practical implementation of mmWave massive MIMO may not be an easy task. A challenging problem is massive MIMO channel es...
