Embodiment 1

[0035] see figure 1 , a structural schematic diagram of an atmospheric pressure photoionization source device for detecting volatile organic compounds in water according to the present invention. It consists of a dynamic purging and bubbling device 1 and an atmospheric pressure photoionization source 2.

[0036] The dynamic purging and bubbling device 1 includes four capillaries 3, a glass vial 4, a liquid sample 5, a constant temperature water bath 6, and a bubbling bottle outlet 7; the purge gas 8 is passed into the four capillaries 3, and the liquid sample 5 is immersed in the bottom of the capillary 3 , the volatile organic compounds in the liquid sample 5 enter the cavity 11 of the atmospheric pressure photoionization source through the outlet 7 of the bubbling bottle and the heating device 10 .

[0037] Atmospheric pressure photoionization source 2 includes ionization source cavity 11, reagent gas inlet 12, high-humidity sample inlet (i.e. bubble bottle outlet 7), suppl...

Abstract

The invention relates to a mass spectrometer analysis instrument, in particular to an atmospheric pressure photoionization source device for detecting volatile organic compounds in water. It includes two parts: a dynamic purging and bubbling device and an atmospheric pressure photoionization source. The dynamic purging and bubbling device mainly includes a glass vial, four capillaries, the outlet of the bubbling bottle, and a constant temperature water bath. Atmospheric pressure photoionization source includes ionization source cavity, vacuum ultraviolet lamp, repelling electrode, focusing electrode, transmission electrode, mass spectrometry sampling metal capillary, reagent gas inlet, high humidity sample inlet and make-up gas inlet. All the high-humidity sample gas purged from the bubble bottle enters the atmospheric pressure photoionization source. The invention improves the stability of detection, and the matrix in water has little influence on sample detection; the absorption of photons by neutral molecules and the consumption of reagent ions are reduced; the introduction of reagent gas can greatly improve the ionization efficiency. The designed atmospheric pressure photoionization source can realize rapid and highly sensitive detection of high-humidity samples.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a mass spectrometer analysis instrument, in particular to an atmospheric pressure photoionization source device for detecting volatile organic compounds in water. Background technique [0002] With the development of industry and the growth of population, water pollution has become a prominent worldwide problem. The safety of drinking water, and all water resources actually or potentially designated for drinking, needs to be assessed to ensure public health. The Minnesota State Department of Health has established drinking water standards for health risk limits for 23 VOCs. Currently, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recommends purge-and-trap GC-MS and static or dynamic headspace GC as the standard method for evaluating VOCs in water. In my country's national standard GB / T5750.8-2006 "Standard Examination Methods for Drinking Water—Organic Matter Index", the off-line analysis method based on gas chromatography i...
