The surface processing method comprises the following steps of: burying the wheel hub into solid particles with a certain depth, and uniformly spraying liquid containing an alkaline wheel hub cleaning agent on the wheel hub and the solid particles for multiple times; through ultrasonic vibration and mechanical vibration methods, enabling the solid particles and the surface of the wheel hub to generate relative motion, impacting and rubbing the surface of the wheel hub, and thus conducting cleaning, polishing and surface prestress treatment on the wheel hub; and then, flushing and drying the treated wheel hub. According to the method, impurities such as a release agent, greasy dirt and dust on the surface of the wheel hub can be efficiently and thoroughly cleaned; a small amount of burrs on the wheel hub can be removed, the surface of the whee hub is polished, the surface quality of the whee hub is improved, and the subsequent paint baking and electroplating processes are more perfect; and the surface of the wheel hub can be subjected to surface prestress treatment, so that the fatigue performance of the wheel hub is improved, the durability of the wheel hub is improved, the service life is prolonged, and the performance of the wheel hub is enhanced.
