Abstract

Ammonium molybdate, zinc salt and aluminum salt are used as raw materials to prepare the catalyst which has a hydrotalcite-like structure and contains molybdenum oxide, and according to the characteristics of methacrylic acid products, isobutyraldehyde is adsorbed by empty holes in an alumina-zinc oxide carrier to increase the trend of generation of carbonyl carbocations; and by combining the oxygen activation capability of molybdenum oxide and the oxyphilic characteristic of zinc oxide, the adsorbed oxygen is activated into single atoms, then the activated oxygen attacks carbocations, and finally methacrylic acid is generated. According to the method disclosed by the invention, high-selectivity methacrylic acid can be produced by oxidizing isobutyraldehyde in the continuous reactor by utilizing a synergistic effect between components in hydrotalcite and molybdenum oxide. The catalyst prepared by the method is low in cost, high in activity and good in stability, and has a very good industrial prospect.
