Abstract

The invention discloses a method for calibrating an emanometer by using radon dissolved in water. The method comprises the steps of testing a background of a scintillation chamber of the emanometer to be calibrated; connecting a reference emanometer, the scintillation chamber of the emanometer to be calibrated, an air extracting pump and a daughter filter to form a circulating closed system, and testing a radon value background in the circulating closed system; adding an air-blowing bottle filled with a water sample into the circulating closed system, turning on the air extracting pump for testing, and turning off the air extracting pump after circulating bubbling for a preset time at a preset flow in the testing process; clamping inlet and outlet end pipes of the scintillation chamber of the emanometer to be calibrated, standing, keeping the reference emanometer to test, and recording test values according to a preset time interval; and measuring the radon volume activity of the circulating closed system by using the reference emanometer, and taking the radon volume activity as an agreed true value of the radon volume activity calibrated each time after the radon volume activity is subjected to temperature and air pressure correction. The problems of radon chamber scarcity, long calibration period, radon source shortage in solid radon source calibration, serious device aging, frequent faults, difficult transportation, high maintenance technical requirements and the like are solved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of radon measuring instruments, in particular to a method for calibrating a radon measuring instrument by using dissolved radon in water. Background technique [0002] At present, my country's seismic radon observation network has more than 300 radon measuring points and hundreds of radon measuring instruments. These instruments are mainly calibrated with radon gas solid sources. The solid radon sources used in the calibration of seismic observation instruments in my country include the RN-150 solid radon source produced by the Canadian Pylon company and the domestic FD-3024 radon solid source in the late 1980s. The calibration of solid radon gas source is easy to operate, with short cycle time and high efficiency, and is not affected by man-made and changes in environmental conditions. The calibration accuracy is high, accurate and reliable. [0003] However, due to the long-term use of these solid radon g...
