Abstract

The invention discloses a server and sorting equipment thereof. The sorting equipment comprises a first memory and an FPGA. The FPGA comprises a configuration module used for receiving configuration information of to-be-sorted data; a data moving module used for moving data; a state module used for recording state information; an interrupt module used for sending an interrupt; a second memory; a sorting module; a comparison module; and a scheduling module used for dividing N continuous address spaces of which the sizes are the same as those of a first group from the first memory to store the to-be-sorted data, sorting the to-be-sorted data according to a bitonic sorting algorithm on the basis of state information, sorting the data in a single address space in an ascending or descending order based on the sorting module, and sorting the data in different address spaces based on the comparison module. By applying the scheme of the invention, the convenient and quick sorting of large data volume is realized through the FPGA.
