The invention discloses an unmanned aerial vehicle aerial image-based urban green space extraction method, which comprises the following steps of: 1, preparing an unmanned aerial vehicle, selecting a measurement area range, and planning a shooting route, a shooting height and a shooting angle according to the measurement area range; 2, starting the unmanned aerial vehicle to carry out aerial photographing to obtain an original image, wherein the photographing height is set to be 150-300m; 3, distortion processing is conducted on the obtained original image, the image obtained after distortion processing and correction is processed into an aerial photo image map with coordinates, geometric correction, light and color homogenization and mosaic cutting are conducted on the processed image with the coordinates, and finally an aerial photo ortho-image result map is obtained; 4, performing sample extraction on the green land in the range of the detection area; 5, performing green land identification and vector diagram extraction by adopting a maximum likelihood classification method; and step 6, carrying out manual check and topology check on the extracted vector data so as to establish an urban green land information database.
