Abstract

The invention discloses a hydrogen filling system and method with an automatic flow regulation function for a long pipe trailer. The system comprises a first water chilling unit, a valve, corresponding to a hydrogen filling pipeline, of the first water chilling unit, the 20 Mpa long pipe trailer, a second water chilling unit, a valve, corresponding to a hydrogen filling pipeline, of the second water chilling unit and a 30 Mpa long pipe trailer. Wherein the first water chilling unit is connected with the 20Mpa long pipe trailer through a valve, corresponding to the hydrogen filling pipeline, of the first water chilling unit; the second water chilling unit is connected with the 30Mpa long pipe trailer through a valve, corresponding to the hydrogen filling pipeline, of the second water chilling unit; the valve, corresponding to the hydrogen filling pipeline, of the first water chilling unit and the valve, corresponding to the hydrogen filling pipeline, of the second water chilling unit are controlled through a filling station control system. The method comprises the steps of pipeline selection, nitrogen purging replacement, hydrogen purging replacement, rapid filling and filling stopping. The system has the beneficial effects that the operation cost and the manual operation error rate are reduced in the automatic and rapid hydrogen filling process; therefore, the service life of the water chilling unit is prolonged.
