Abstract

A testing device for dynamic characteristics of an elastic ring type squeeze film damper is characterized in that a neck bush is sleeved at a cantilever end of a bracket, and an outer bush is mounted on the bracket through a squirrel cage elastic support; an annular cavity for mounting an elastic ring is formed between the inner circumferential surface of the outer bushing and the outer circumferential surface of the inner bushing; and the bracket is arranged on the support. A first vibration exciter and a second vibration exciter which serve as vibration excitation sources are installed on the outer circumference of the balancing weight. In two mutually perpendicular directions, two paths of signals are utilized to excite the balancing weight to do planar motion, the motion condition of an elastic ring oil film shaft neck is simulated, the motion form of planar motion of an elastic ring neck bush and immobile of an outer bush is converted into the motion form of immobile of the neck bush and planar motion of the outer bush by utilizing the idea of relative motion, and the motion condition of the elastic ring oil film shaft neck is simulated. Therefore, sufficient space is provided for excitation and signal testing, a large number of elastic ring dynamic characteristic testing experiments which are low in cost and high in repeatability become possible, and powerful support is provided for design of the elastic ring.
