Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a method and equipment for judging the density of crude oil in a reservoir based on conservation of hydrogen atoms. A rock sample containing pyrolysis gas is obtained, and the pyrolysis gas is generated based on crude oil pyrolysis; obtaining a natural gas-asphalt two-phase inclusion contained in the rock sample; determining an actual gas pressure value in the two-phase inclusion; and determining the actual density of the crude oil according to comparison between the actual gas pressure value and a pre-obtained density-pressure corresponding relation. Through the scheme, the density of the initial crude oil can be directly given based on the pressure value of the gas contained in the two-phase inclusion in the rock sample, and the method is simpler and more effective.
