Problems solved by technology

The main issues then are the extra space required for sensors and cables, and the product design that has to be changed, which leads to increased costs
Also, the sensed ambient temperature is less accurate due to proximity to heat sources such as the human body

Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a method for temperature detection. The method includes obtaining a sensed temperature from a sensor, the sensor being in an installed mode in which the sensor is thermally radiated by a variable heat source and a fixed heat source; determining a rate of change in temperature of the sensor and at least one influencing factor influencing the sensing of the temperature of the sensor; and determining a temperature of the variable heat source based on the sensed temperature, the temperature change rate, and the influencing factor. According to the method of the invention, the temperature of a variable heat source, such as ambient temperature, can be obtained or determined without dedicated sensors and cables. By this method, the ambient temperature may be determined by a sensor for sensing the temperature of a heating element, such as a battery, a control unit, or the like. In this way, additional space and product design for installing a dedicated sensor for ambient temperature are no longer required, which reduces the cost of the product. In addition, the user experience can be improved without increasing the cost.

Description

technical field [0001] Embodiments of the present disclosure relate generally to a wearable device, and more particularly, to a method and apparatus for temperature detection. Background technique [0002] Ambient temperature is a physical quantity used to indicate the degree of hot and cold environments. In some cases, especially for sensing related products, monitoring the ambient temperature is important. Based on the ambient temperature, the product can adjust its performance so the user can be more comfortable when using the same product at different temperatures. An example is a removable mask with a fan to remove exhaust air within the mask. At different temperatures, the requirements for fan speed are different. For example, in summer, when ambient temperatures are higher, users typically prefer higher fan speeds to remove exhaust air faster along with the heat inside the mask. In winter, when the ambient temperature is low, the fan preferably has a lower speed t...
