Abstract
The present invention provides a group of antisense oligonucleotide sequence designed toward the ribosome binding site in 5' end non-coding region of Coxsackie virus geomone. Inside the virus infected cell, the antisense oligonucleotide sequence is complementary with the virus mRNA base to block the flow of viral genetic information, inhibit the attack of the virus grain to cell and thus treat and prevent the virus infection.
Description
technical field [0001] The invention relates to an antisense nucleic acid capable of inhibiting virus, especially CVA24 infection, and its application. Background technique [0002] Hemorrhagic conjunctivitis (Epidemic Haemorrhagic Conjunctivitis) is a highly contagious disease that can cause widespread infection in public. Symptoms are swollen eyelids with marked follicular hyperplasia. In half of the cases, when the condition reaches its peak 2-3 days after the illness, there may be bulbar conjunctival hemorrhage in the form of spots or flakes and corneal epithelial damage. In severe cases, the bleeding can spread throughout the bulbar conjunctiva. In some cases, corneal epithelium often peels off repeatedly, lasting several days. Years are very stubborn. The disease is characterized by a short incubation period and strong infectivity. The source of infection of the disease is mainly coxsackie group A virus and enterovirus type 70, especially CVA24, which often causes o...
