Abstract

The electromechanical actuator in a vehicle suspension system includes a housing having a first section adapted to affix to a vehicle body and a second section adapted to affix to a vehicle wheel assembly suspended to the vehicle body, the first and second sections coupled to form a motor, electronic circuits including a power-switching devices disposed within a chamber of the housing and adapted to receive electrical power and to direct power to the motor, and a filter board including capacitors and inductors disposed within the chamber to suppress noise generated by the power-switching devices to an external DC power source.
