Abstract

The integrated deep sea sediment sampling and holding device includes sampling mechanism comprising weight mechanism, hoisting mechanism, sampling and holding barrel, energy accumulator and tongue mechanism; and sealing bin comprising bin body, flap valve, lower end cap, lower gland and turned cone. It has combined sampling and pressure holding barrel with sealed upper and lower ends, compact structure, relaxed hoisting requirement, and raised pressure and bending strength of the barrel. The device can sample sea bed sediment as well as water, gas, natural gas, etc., and hold the temperature, pressure and sample components and state, and is released and recovered with geological winch on ship and without needing other power source.
