Algae biomass and components of algae can be derived from both a microalgae and a macroalgae. Algae biomass includes but is not limited to biomass produced by algae species. Example algae species include, but are not limited to, Haptophyta, Cyanophyta, Chlorophyta, Ochrophyta, Rhodophyta, and Phaeophyta, for example blue-green algae, green algae, diatoms, red algae, and brown algae.
