Tunable Down-Hole Stimulation System

Tunable down-hole stimulation systems feature closed-loop control of pumps and tunable down-hole stimulators. Stimulators generate and hydraulically transmit broad vibration spectra tuned for resonance excitation and fracturing of geologic materials adjacent to the wellbore. Feedback data for controlling stimulation includes backscatter vibration originating in stimulated geologic material and detected at the stimulator(s). For initial fracturing with relatively large particle sizes, the power spectral density (PSD) of each stimulator output is down-shifted toward the lower resonant frequencies of large particles. As fracturing proceeds to smaller (proppant-sized) fragments having higher resonant frequencies, backscatter vibration guides progressive up-shifting of stimulator PSD to higher vibration frequencies. Stimulator power requirements are minimized by concentrating vibration energy efficiently in frequency bands to which geologic materials are most sensitive at every stage of stimulation. Geologic fragmentation efficiency is thus optimized, with inherent potential for plain-water fracs completed with self-generated proppant.

Accelerator Foam Generating Device

An air and water / soap concentrate mixing device which creates high quality compressed air foam without restricting the flow of liquid through the apparatus. The device consists of three water / soap concentrate chambers, an air manifold and a central air diffuser tube. Water / soap concentrate flow is increased through the device from the entry chamber (first) thru the acceleration (second) chambers. Upon entering the deceleration (third) chamber, the water / soap concentrate perimeter is laced with pressurized air from the air manifold wrapping the acceleration chamber. At the same time, pressurized air is also diffused and embedded in the center of the water / soap concentrate flow via the air diffuser tube. As the accelerated water / soap concentrate enters the deceleration chamber, the flow is dramatically decreased. This slowing of the water / soap concentrate and the introduction of pressurized air causes a pressure volatility and turbulence inside the deceleration chamber allowing the pressures of the water / soap concentrate and air to equalize and mix creating foam bubbles. The device is also capable of flowing plain water or water / soap concentrate through the device if the pressurized air system or soap injection system is deactivated.

After thick oil produced water is heated through a preheater of the system, the thick oil produced water is drained into a water outlet pipe of a steam-water separator; a circulating pump conveys the thick oil produced water to an evaporator in a pumping mode, the thick oil produced water is heated through the evaporator to form a gas-liquid mixed phase, and the gas-liquid mixed phase enters the steam-water separator to be processed through steam-water separation; thick water formed through separation enters the water outlet pipe of the steam-water separator; steam formed through separation enters a steam compressor, the temperature of the steam is increased, the heated steam is conveyed to the evaporator, and serves as a heat source to enter the evaporator and to conduct heating, the thick oil produced water can evaporate, and the steam cools to form produced plain water; and the produced plain water is heated through a steam-injection boiler system to form the high-dryness steam. The system is low in pretreatment requirement, free of secondary pollution and low in cost, and latent heat energy contained in high-temperature sewage water drained by the steam-injection boiler system can be fully utilized.
