With the freeze-etching agent, the form of the ultra-low-carbon continuous casting steel billet macrograph grain structure can be clearly shown. The cold-etching agent is high in detection speed, is less in pollution, is energy-saving, is simple in operation, can clearly show the content of carbon and the low-multiply dendritic structure form of the steel continuous casting billets containing alloy elements, so that billet shell crystals, columnar crystals and central isometric crystals in continuous casting solidification and defects are easy to distinguish.
