The invention discloses a data backup and recovery system comprising a remote control server end (8) and a terminal computer (1) which are all provided with an intelligent platform management interface (2), a base plate management controller (4), an out-of-band network interface (5), wherein, a data update control module (3) is provided in the intelligent platform management interface (2) of the terminal computer (1) for fetching a data recovery bit zone (7) to the base plate management controller (4) and determine whether the recovery of the storage apparatus data will be implemented in terms of the data recovery bit zone (7); the terminal computer (1) is provided with a data storage module (6) to storage the data of storage apparatus.
