Abstract

The invention relates to an oil-adjuvant vaccine with cochinchina momordica seed saponin and a method of preparing the vaccine. The vaccine comprises oil-adjuvant and cochinchina momordica seed saponin. The content of the cochinchina momordica seed saponin adjuvant in each milliliter of vaccine is 0.5 to 2.5 mg, and the oil-adjuvant accounts for 30 percent to 50 percent of the total volume of the vaccine. The preparation method is that: first the cochinchina momordica seed saponin is dissolved in a small amount of physiological saline and becomes solution; and then the cochinchina momordica seed saponin solution is mixed with antien; the mixture and the oil-adjuvant are fully emulsified and mixed with the help of emulsifier; or the oil-adjuvant and the cochinchina momordica seed saponin are emulsified and mixed, and then mixture is emulsified with the antien; or the cochinchina momordica seed saponin solution is added into the conventional oil-adjuvant vaccine to emulsify and mix. The animal immunization test with foot-and-mouth disease virus as the antien mode has shown, the oil-adjuvant vaccine with cochinchina momordica seed saponin of the invention can induce higher immune reaction strength than vaccine with single adjuvant.
