Embodiment Construction

[0054] Induced time-varying currents from PEMF or PRF devices flow into target pathway structures such as molecules, cells, tissues and organs, and these currents are the stimuli to which cells and tissues can respond in a physiologically meaningful way. The electrical properties of the target channel structure affect the level and distribution of the induced current. Molecules, cells, tissues, and organs all sense current pathways, such as cells at gap junction contacts. Ionic or ligand interactions at binding sites on macromolecules that may exist on membrane surfaces are voltage-dependent processes that are electrochemical and respond to induced electromagnetic fields ("E"). Induced currents reach these locations via the surrounding ionic medium. The presence of cells in the current channel causes the induced current ("J") to decay more rapidly over time ("J(t)"). This is due to the increased resistance of the cell from the membrane capacitance, as well as the time consta...

Abstract

A lightweight inductive device is integrate into at least one therapeutic device to form a whole for treating, however the inductor can be connected to at least one therapeutic device (Step 101). Miniaturized circuitry containing logic for a mathematical model having at least one waveform parameter used to configure at least one waveform to be coupled to a target pathway structure such as molecules, cells, tissues, and organs, is attached to the coil by at least one wire (Step 102). However, the connection can be wireless. The configured waveform satisfies a SNR or Power SNR model so that for a given and known target pathway structure it is possible to choose at least one waveform parameter so that a waveform is detectable in the target pathway structure above its background activity (Step 103), the background activity are the base line thermal fluctuation of the electric voltage and resistor in the target pathway structure, the base line thermal fluctuation depends on the state of the cell and tissue, namely whether the state is at least one of static state, growth, substituting and the response for the scathe. The optimized execution mode of the generated electromagnetic signal includes the burst of the random waveform with at least one waveform parameter, and wherein the components of a plurality of frequencies satisfy the power SNR model. A repetitive electromagnetic signal can be generated for example inductively, from said configured at least one waveform (Step 104). The repetitive electromagnetic signal can also be generated by transmitting. The electromagnetic signal is coupled to a target pathway structure, such as molecule, cell, tissue and organ by output of the inductive apparatus which is integrated by at least one therapeutic device (Step 106).

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates generally to an electromagnetic therapeutic induction device and a method of using the same for effecting cell and tissue growth, repair, maintenance and general behavior improvement through application of encoded electromagnetic information. More specifically, the present invention relates to the application of surgical non-invasive coupling of highly specific electromagnetic signal patterns to any number of body organs. Specifically, embodiments in accordance with the present invention relate to the use of induction devices, such as coils, that deliver pulsed electromagnetic fields ("PEMFs"), in conjunction with devices such as braces, wraps, beds, and wheelchairs, and in conjunction with other therapeutic and rehabilitative physical therapies, such as ultrasound , negative or positive pressure, heat, cold, massage, to increase living tissue growth and repair. Background technique [0002] It is now well established tha...
