Embodiment 1

[0042] Take 3 kg of betel nut fruit, extract it three times with 95% for 7, 5, and 3 days respectively, recover the solvent and concentrate to obtain extract A. Take 150 g of A, disperse with 500 mL of water, extract with petroleum ether, ethyl acetate and n-butanol, and extract 4 times respectively. Recover the solvent and concentrate to obtain AC (12 grams) and AD (28 grams) respectively, take 15 grams of AD and add 15 grams of medicinal starch, mix well, then mix well with 30 grams of dextrin, add ethanol (50%) in an appropriate amount to make soft material. Granulate through a 16-mesh nylon sieve, dry at 60°C, pass the dry granules through a 16-mesh sieve for granulation, add 5 grams of magnesium stearate, mix evenly, and press into tablets.

Embodiment 2

[0044] Take 4 kg of betel nut fruit, extract it three times with 95% for 7, 6, and 3 days respectively, recover the solvent and concentrate to obtain extract A. Take 200 grams of A, disperse with 500 mL of water, extract with petroleum ether, ethyl acetate and n-butanol, and extract 4 times respectively. Recover the solvent and concentrate to obtain extract AC (20 grams) and AD (40 grams) respectively, take 20 grams of AC and add 20 grams of medicinal starch, mix well, then mix with 40 grams of dextrin, add ethanol (50%) in an appropriate amount to make soft material. Granulate through a 16-mesh nylon sieve, dry at 60°C, pass the dry granules through a 16-mesh sieve for granulation, add 7 grams of magnesium stearate, mix evenly, and press into tablets.

Embodiment 3

[0046]Take 8 kg of betel nut fruit, extract it three times with 95% for 6, 5, and 4 days respectively, recover the solvent and concentrate to obtain extract A. Take 400 g of A, disperse with 1 L of water, extract with petroleum ether, ethyl acetate and n-butanol, and extract 4 times respectively. The solvent is recovered and concentrated to obtain extracts AC (40 g) and AD (80 g), respectively. Take 20 g of AC and AD, mix them evenly, add 60 g of medicinal starch, and fill them into capsules.

Abstract

The invention discloses novel application of an areca fruit and an extract thereof to preparation of anti-AIDS drugs, which belongs to the field of traditional Chinese medicine and natural medicine. The areca fruit is extracted by petroleum ether, ethyl acetate, and normal butanol through alcohol extraction to obtain a petroleum ether extract AB, an ethyl acetate extract AC, and a normal butanol extract AD respectively. The experiment proves that AC and AD parts obtained by extraction have the function of resisting AIDS viruses.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a new medical application of medicinal plants, in particular to the new application of betel nut fruit and its extract in the preparation of anti-AIDS drugs, and belongs to the field of traditional Chinese medicine and natural medicine. Background technique [0002] AIDS is a serious threat to human existence. Since AIDS was first identified in June 1981, 65 million people have been infected with HIV in the world in 25 years, and 2.5 million of them died. By the end of 2005, there were 38.6 million HIV-infected people in the world, 4.1 million new HIV-infected people in that year, and another 2.8 million people died of AIDS. [0003] At present, many medical researchers around the world have made great efforts, but so far no specific drug for the cure of AIDS has been developed, nor is there an effective vaccine for prevention. The general principles of AIDS treatment are anti-opportunistic infection and tumor; killing or inhi...
