Abstract

The invention provides a method for RRU signaling cascade, wherein a BBU is cascaded with a plurality of RRUs, downlink is that a signaling reaches an RRU from a BBU or reaches the next RRU from the RRU, and uplink is that a signaling reaches the BBU from the RRU or reaches the previous RRU from the RRU. The method is characterized by comprising the following steps: (a) a signaling between the BBU and the RRU is framed according to a specified format; (b) a downlink signaling is extracted and transmitted, in which the RRU extracts the signaling from a data frame according to the specified frame format after receiving a downlink data frame; and the RRU transmits the signaling correlated to the RRU cascade position after processing the signaling, and other signalings are directly transmitted; and (c) an uplink signaling is inserted and transmitted, in which inserting and transmitting of the signaling are performed by adopting a time sharing multiplex method when the uplink signaling is in down link; when the RRU belongs to the frame of the level, the signaling is sent; and when the RRU does not belong to the frame of the level, a signaling sent by the next RRU is transmitted.
