Abstract

The invention discloses an additive for improving the metallurgical performance of all Fe2O3 pellet ore and a use method thereof. The additive comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 78.0-90.0 percent of Fe3O4, 4.0-9.0 percent of CaO and 5.0-15.0 percent of MgO. The use method of the additive for producing the all Fe2O3 pellet ore comprises the following steps: preparing a mixed raw material of hematite concentrate and the additive according to a proportion by weight of 4-6:1, and respectively preparing bentonite and returned ash according to the proportion by weight of 1.0-1.5 percent and 1-5 percent of the mixed raw material; then acquiring the finished product of pellet ore through preliminary drying, high-pressure roller milling, preparation of the bentonite and the returned ash, forced mixing, pelletizing, material distribution, after drying, preheating, roasting and cooling of the mixed raw material. A test proves that using the additive for producing the pellet ore can greatly reduce the energy consumption and the cost, improves the all iron grade of the pellet ore, and simultaneously can better improve the metallurgical performance of the pellet ore.
