Problems solved by technology

Combustion of such grease components in a vehicle engine or cogeneration engine will lead to mechanical failure
[0012] Therefore, currently this valorization of the grease components is only possible in industrial furnaces or in cement plant furnaces

Embodiment 1

[0083] In this embodiment, the method according to the invention is realized by means of mechanical treatment by gravity decantation or acceleration decantation, or mechanical treatment by means of centrifugal filtration.

[0084] Table 1 summarizes the tests performed and the results obtained.

[0085] Various samples of oil components have been chemically treated with an acidic reagent with a volume ratio of 1.6%, and then separated by 24 hours of gravity decantation or acceleration decantation.

[0086] Table 1

[0087]

[0088] DM = dry matter; MM = minerals

[0089] In these two decantation methods, the amount of minerals in the oil component sample was separated by more than half of the initial amount of minerals.

[0090] If the initial characteristics of the fat components involved are roughly similar to each other, the average yield of the treatment using the acceleration decantation method is higher than the average yield of the treatment using the gravity decantation method.

Embodiment 2

[0092] In this embodiment, the method according to the present invention performs chemical treatment according to the order of addition of various reactants, and then performs mechanical treatment based on acceleration decantation.

[0093] Table 2 summarizes the results obtained by processing various oil component samples according to four different addition sequences:

[0094] Sequence 1: Add the oil component, and then add the water / acid reagent mixture at the same time;

[0095] Sequence 2: Add grease components, then add water, and finally add acid reagents;

[0096] Sequence 3: Add the water / acid reagent mixture, and then add the grease component;

[0097] Sequence 4: Add grease components, then add a part of water (this part of water is between 10% and 30% of the total amount of water to be injected), and finally add the rest of the water and acid reagents at the same time.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for processing fatty wastes leading to a better valorization, particularly for use as fuel. According to the invention, this method is substantially characterized inthat it comprises a chemical treatment of fatty wastes (1, 1'), wherein fatty wastes (1, 1') are mixed with water (8) and an acid-type reagent (7) so as to obtain a demineralized fatty phase not containing mineral elements belonging to the alkaline and alkaline earths families, and an aqueous phase which may include solid residues as precipitates; followed by a mechanical treatment wherein the obtained mixture undergoes a mechanical separation (11) through decanting or filtering, so as to separate the demineralized fatty phase from the aqueous phase.

Description

Technical field [0001] The present invention generally relates to the field of waste treatment, especially for the use of said waste as fuel. [0002] More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for processing oil and fat waste, the method is especially for using the oil and fat waste as fuel. Background technique [0003] More specifically, the present invention is applicable to such grease wastes, which come from agricultural food or cosmetic industries, especially from their decantation facilities; or from restaurants and food processing facilities; and from municipal or industrial wastewater treatment plants. Processing facilities such as skimmers and degreasing machines; or from slaughterhouses. [0004] These grease wastes mainly include grease components, aqueous components and other components. [0005] The grease wastes with different compositions processed by the present invention may be solid and / or liquid, and may include various types of vegetable oil an...
